The piecing of this quilt looks complex, it is really very simple - only Flying Geese and 9 Patches! And, the big "open" spaces leave a LOT of space for the quilting!
You have your choice of project size - there are piecing instructions for two different Table Runners and a Lap, Twin, Queen and King sized quilts!
The quilting that will be created on this quilt is simple, free hand, and never seen before! I have been longarm quilting for over 20 years and I have seen a LOT of machine quilting. But... I have never seen these quilting designs before and never done FREE HAND!
In the open spaces and the borders, we had to mark registration lines on the quilt top. To do this I recommend using the fine point, Crayola Washable Markers. If you use these markers, your quilt needs to be washed with warm water and detergent when the quilting is completed. (Think of how you would wash as child's clothing if they got this marker all over them.)
The first photo below shows the finished quilt with the Crayola Washable Marker still on the quilt top. Yes, I know it looks messy, but you can see the detail of the quilting. This is a part of the quilt that I sprayed (regular) water on to show that the marker is NOT water soluble.

The second photo shows the completed quilt. The lighting makes the background fabric look light blue but it is really solid white! The third photo above shows the detail of the quilting on the washed quilt.
